During the investigation of terrariums snake pets, two species are reported for first time from Hungary. Females Ophionyssus natricis (Gervais, 1844) were collected body a Boa sp. (Reptilia:Boidae), and females Hirstionyssus butantanensis (Fonseca, 1932) found on new-born mice (Mus musculus Linnaeus) (Rodentia: Muridae) which used as food reptiles.
